Job Description

MUST be an organized and self-motivated individual. Will be involved with parts cataloging, ordering, distributing, and anything else needed to assist the service department manager to complete the shop's goals by providing quality service.

A high school diploma or equivalent.
Work experience and product knowledge may be advantageous.
Computer literacy and knowledge of office software programs.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Strong record-keeping skills.
The ability to understand and relate technical issues to the service team from customers' non-technical descriptions.
Willingness to work on weekends, evenings and holidays Willingness to attend occasional offsite training or conference
Experience: Three years or more of related experience and/or training
Use computers, preferably in a PC, Windows-based operating
Maintain inventory, audit inventory levels, keep technicians and the Director of Maintenance apprised of parts orders in progress, help handle daily parts duties, and assist in the processing of warranty claims. Work with suppliers to source necessary parts to keep motorcoaches up and running.  

Strong intercompany service skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Mathematical skills to help manage the inventory, pricing and estimates
Problem-solving skills to deal with parts inventory issues
Previous mechanic or car sales experience
Ability to work in a fast-paced and sometimes loud environment
Leadership skills to keep the parts department running smoothly
Product knowledge to ensure they identify parts correctly and recommend the needed parts
